What Causes Slurred Speech And Body Tremors After Taking Steroid Shot?

My friend has had a cold and cough and took medicine and got steroid shot yesterday at doctor.Today, his speech is slurred and he is taking episodes of jerking.Could it be side effect of shot yesterday? his blood pressure is fine and no fever his tongue doesn t deviate when sticking it out. the jerking is only with upper body, nothing happening with lower body yesterday at the doctor, they gave him a rocepherin shot and steroid shot

Most of the simple cold and cough are due to viral infection and do not require
Rocephin or steroid injections. So the doctor's impression would be some illness which is more severe. The slurring of speech and episodes of jerking may point to a serious nervous system disease.
It would be advisable to have your friend examined by a neurologist and have proper investigation and treatment.
