What Causes Slurred Speech And Pain In The Head?

Hi-on my way to market and noticed when singing along with the radio, my words were garbled and I could not sing the words although I know all the words, this happened for awhile and then my head started to hurt tremendously, I have been fasting 41 hours but fast regularly and not sure what caused this inability to follow the words or say the words.

Hello,

I think you should go to an emergency room well-equipped with the capability to handle stroke patients immediately. Sudden onset of slurring of speech may be a sign of stroke.

And since you have had a headache, there may be associated hemorrhage also. I therefore suggest going to the Emergency/Casualty as soon as possible. This may need urgent treatment.

Please do not delay- in cases of stroke (infarcts) good treatment is time bound and any delay will only make things worse. So please do rush to the hospital.
