What Causes Slurred Speech And Poor Motor Skills?

My mom has been though a lot of surgeries, three to be exact and has been given pain pills. She never abuses them and despite rough surgeries she always lands on two feet. This last one was a week ago and she was doing ok, but I came to check on her today and she s out of it. Slurred speech, lack of motor skills, talking crazy about our bus being fixed so we can get our scuba gear now. (We don t own a bus and no one in our family scuba dives). I m really scared and have begged her to go to ER all day. I know one dr is giving her perc 15 and xanex, and another dr giving her soma. I don t think she is abusing but her body isn t handling it well. Please give me any advice on how to handle the situation. I dont know what I would do without her. I put her to bed about an hour ago and have been in to check on her every 20min to make sure she s breathing.
