What Causes Slurred Speech While On Doxepin?

I ve recently started taking Doxein as an alternative to Ambien which I had been taking for years Whle I don t get the buss I like with Ambien, when I do fall asleep, it keeps me alseep. Unfortunately what I m notiicing and what my friends and co-workers are noticing is slurred speech. Is this a common thin and does it get better over time I run out of words... My brain wants to say the but the mouth just doesn t work. My speeck is slurred. I sound like a drunk..
