What Causes Slurred Speech?

I recently started experiencing minor ticks that mimic stuttering and uncontrollable speech while talking. often occurs when I m talking about multiple things at once and almost like I m getting thoughts mixed up. is this a common thing when over stressed or is it possible this could be an underlying issue that s rearing it s head later in life?

Hi,

Slurred speech, tics on talking with someone, uncontrollable speech etc., could be occurring due to anxiety. Anxiety while talking with someone results in such symptoms.

If these symptoms are resulting in problems in proper functioning then please visit a psychiatrist for help.

Drugs like Propranolol can be used to reduce the sudden outbursts of anxiety. The drug can be used on SOS basis and will definitely help to reduce the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
