What Causes Slurring Of Speech After Taking Anesthesia?

I had a surgery yesterday to remove an infected mass on my back. The doc used twilight anesthesia, along with anti nausea meds and a scopolamine patch. All day today I m having trouble speaking - like I m stuttering or having a twitchy tick trying to get words out. What is this?
