What Causes Slurring Of Speech Along With Mental Confusion?

My husband has all day been slurring his speech. Has had trouble concentrating on conversations that we are in the middle of. At times he resorts to mumbling during these talks. He has had severe mood swings towards anger which is very unlike him. He is also in a lot of pain due to having a hemroid the size of a small child exiting his anus. By the way has also been bleeding. His balance is practically nonexistent and he keeps losing consciousness. Any thoughts as to what may be happening. He won t let me take him to the emergency room and honestly I am getting very scared.

I would like to ask some questions. What's the age of your husband? Despite the symptoms you gave is he having any weakness on oneside of his body (one half of the body)for how long he gets unconscious?

Is he throwing any fits,urine incontinence or jerky movements of one limb or both.?duration of the symptoms when it started first? Is he complaining any fever,nausea and vomiting?is he having any chest pain?shortness of breath?racing heart beats?

Any irregularities in his pulses?is he bed bound? Can he use washroom by himself? Ishe losing weight?any problem in his vision as well as does he remember past or recent memory ?

Is he diabetic,increased blood pressure patient or any other ilness? Which medications he is taking? For hemorrhoid did he consult any surgeon?can I know his hemoglobin level last which he has done?
