What Causes Small Bump In Lip?

As of lately after me and my boyfriend have sex I will be bleeding afterwards. This happened about twice. And today I noticed that as I spread out my upper lip and licked it there was a tiny area that Stung. I looked to see a small bump was forming. What could this be?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The small bump over the lip could be mucocele that is mucous retention cyst. This occurs secondary to trauma like lip biting. nothing to worry usually it ruptures by its own. If it increases in size then get it surgically removed by consulting a oral physician. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
