What Causes Small Bump In The Genital Area?

Hi, I have noticed a single, small bump near the top of my pubic hair and I m wondering if this is automatically HPV or if there is a chance that it is not? Also, what does this mean for my partner and I if it is in fact HPV? Are we in danger? Thanks!

Hello,

HPV is not characterized by lump. HPV is characterized by papilloma. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist. HPV can be transmitted to your partner.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
