What Causes Small Bumps On The Stomach While Suffering From Pancreatitis?
hello my daughter has had pancreatitis no visible cause... she had 2 ultrasounds and a mri scan to check for some things they have sent bloods to check for some other auto immune causes, she is now home and i have noticed goose pimple type bumps on her stomach , while in hospital they gave her some injections in her stomach to help prevent DVT . could the goose bumps be related ? or nothing to worry about ?
The goose bumps from the injection generally last only a few minutes and fade while the medication is being absorbed, so I would not expect them to last hours after the injection. A local reaction in the area of the injection can be the reason for the goose bumps to last longer and she might need to show these to the doctor and be evaluated to better determine the cause because if she is developing allergy to the solution she might need to avoid its use but it is her doctor that needs to make this decision.
I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
