What Causes Small Follicles In The Ovary?
Hi, I am planning for pregnancy but not able to concieve.... I had undergone sonography, it shows multiple small follicles on both ovaries and size of ovaries is 10mm x 10mm..... can you explain the condition I am suferring? is it serious? will I be able to concieve? is the ovary size normal ?

Hi thanks for asking question.
Normal ovarian size is 4x3x2.Here your ovarian size is increased.
Multiple follicles seen.So it could be follicular cyst.You should consult gynecologist for its treatment.
Usually for few days you will given hormonal medical treatment by estrogen and progesterone.mostly with this cyst will be resolved.
If it is still present then laproscopic removal needed.
After its treatment it will not interfer in pregnancy.you will conceive.
