What Causes Small Hard Lump At The Back Of Neck While Having Ocular Lymphoma?
Last year I was diagnosed with Ocular lymphoma. For the pass few months i noticed small hard pea size lump in the back of my neck by the hairline. It hasnt moved . Not sure why I have not shown this to the oncologist. My husband just felt it and asked why havent you shown this to the doctor. In the past all my MRI never showed my lymphoma it was a biospy that finally showed it. Is this something to worry about. What else could it be in the back neck area. It is on my left side the same side as my ocular lymphoma

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
HI, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. Ocular Lymphoma is usually a growth from non lymphatic part of ocular cells. The small hard pea sized lump at your hair line indicates spread( Metastasis )of the lymphoma to lymph node... suggestive of nerve cells involvement. The treating doctor needs to be inform about it soon.. he may have to change his treatment regime after assessing the disease lesion. Thanks.
