What Causes Small Lump Under The Skin In Left Forearm?

I have a very small lump under my skin on my left forearm. It is not real hard but feels firm. i can move it about a quarter of an inch in all directions with my finger. no pain or redness. It is about 1/10 the size of a pea.I have an annual checkup coming in July. Should this be looked at sooner?

Hi,

By what you describe it appears to be a fibroma or a neuroma. For the latter check your body surface as neuromas are more than one. The fibroma or a lipoma is the next possibility, which is not a dangerous entity. Which part of the forearm is this mass, if it is below the elbow joint and on the inner part, in the area of the bony prominence, then it needs a review for sure.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
