What Causes Small Lumps On The Roof Of Mouth With Pain While Swallowing?
Ok almost anytime I eat, during eating I ll have to stop, because it gets to painful to swallow. While eating I ll notice the back roof of my mouth has all east a dozen tiny little bumps. They make eating difficult and it really hurts. No clue how, has happened as long as I can remember. No specific food does it. Sometimes even my favorite food like ice cream can do it. What s wrong D:
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small lumps on the roof of mouth with pain while swallowing which could be due to inflamed subepithelial lymphoid tissues. The infection of oral cavity like gum infection , tongue infection or tooth infection make these tissues inflamed. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dentist/ oral pathologist for proper examination and to rule out upper respiratory infection. Doctor may examine oral cavity physically and may prescribe antibiotics for infection. For now do betadine rinses and gargles. You should maintain complete hygiene. Avoid intake of sharp, spicy and fast foods. You should drink plenty of fluids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
