What Causes Small Painful Lump Inside The Vagina?

Hi i have recently noticed the other day i have a small lump without a head on the inside of my vagina lip next to the clitoris. Its painful to the touch, its not a weird color or anything and im curious as to what it may be. I was diagnosed with genital warts a year ago but it doesnt look like what im normally used to. Is it something really bad?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Warts are generally not painful thus, the painful swelling on clitoris is not due to a wart.
The swelling next to clitoris could be due to boil, furunculosis etc.
A clinical assessment is necessary to assess the nature of the lesion.
Management will depend on the nature of the lesion.
Boils and furuncles are treated with antibiotic treatment.
Another swelling can occur due to enlargement of Bartholins gland.
In case the swelling is due to enlargement and infection of Bartholins gland, surgical deroofing and antibiotics will be required.

Thanks and take care
