What Causes Small Pupils And Loss Of Appetite?

my daughter is in the process of being diagnosed with depression. We went for blood work today and she really hasn t eaten all day. Her boyfriend texted me and said she was acting strange. We went to pick up her car and noticed her pupils were very small and she said she felt numb inside. He had made her eat something and she was feeling better by the time we got there but she still was talking kinda silly. She was monotone. She wasn t mad that her boyfriend texted us or that we even came out to get the car which I think she would have usually done. What could cause her to feel like this? Low blood sugar? I really don t think it is drugs. She did say she has felt like this other times but it went away.

HI
Thanks for using healthcare magic

That may be due to confusion, overloaded with stress, certain drugs, and bright light. In your daughter case, it may be due to stress or certain drugs. If you have doubt about any drug, send her urine sample for investigation and consult a psychiatrist for proper mental evaluation. That would help to make further management plan in her case. In case, you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
