What Causes Small Puss Filled Blisters That Turn Into Itchy Bumps?

For about two months now, Ive had small puss filled blisters that turn into rough, itchy, hard bumps that peel once popped and is slowly moving from the palms of my hands to my fingers. I also noticed a spot or two on the bottoms of my feet over the past few weeks but I woke up this am with a patch of about 10 hard, red spots on the outside of my foot. Im constantly scratching and itching my hands to the point where they bleed. My first thought was Staph but it doesn t appear to be contagious to others. Curious as to what this might be and the severity of the infection. Thanks! I hope Ive given sufficient information. BTW, theres been no fever.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small puss filled blisters that turn into itchy bumps. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like seborrheic keratosis, acne, allergic eczema, psoriasis or boils. It could be due to poor and compromised immunity of body and increased susceptibility of getting infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to the rashes , take benadryl twice a day. You should take anti inflammatory and prevent it from sun exposure . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , skin allergy test or physical examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like clindamycin , immunosuppression and vitamin supplement for quick healing.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
