What Causes Fluid Filled Blisters Inside The Mouth?
Hi. I continue to get small fluid filled blisters in the back of my mouth on the sides of my cheeks and on my tongue....looking like a swollen tastebud. Do you how what causes this? I can pop them and they will return in a couple days. What are they and how can I get rid of them permanently?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain small fluid filled blisters on the back of mouth along with sides of cheek that returns after a few days can be due to causes like viral infection caused by Herpes simplex virus infection that leads to clusters of fluid filled blisters.. Secondly it can be due to Bullous Pemphegoid.. I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like oral swab culture and blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. In case of viral infection oral and topical antiviral medications like Acyclovir can help.. In case of bullous pemphegoid oral and topical steroids can be advised..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
