What Causes Small Red Bumps On The Chest After Bitten By A Mosquito?

I assumed a mosquito bit me last Friday on the bus I put achol to stop the itch, a couple days later I woke up to all these little small red bumps on the upper part of my chest where I was bitten. Do you have and answer to what this might be? And yes it itches if I put anything on it like body wash etc.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
A sting or bite of mosquito injects venom composed of proteins and other substances that may trigger an allergic reaction. The sting also causes redness and swelling at the site of the sting.
1.     Do not scratch the area as it will cause skin damage and infection
2.     You can apply calamine lotion for itching
3.     Levocetrizine 5 mg per oral once daily for 3 days
4.     Use mosquito repellent cream while outdoor
Thanks
