What Causes Small Red Pimples On The Areolar Glands While Breast Feeding?
Gave birth week ago. Am breastfeeding, after few days lots of small red pimples appeared on areole. Re ally painful to breastfeed. Doctor gave antibiotic, but not cleared or made progress in 3 days. They are very small and red, so many looks like a red area all over areole.

Red colored bumps on areola can be due to inflammation. Antibiotics should have decreased the redness and pain. In case breast feeding is very painful then you can use pump for extracting milk.
