Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have smal red spots in both my legs and a few on my arms. No itching and no pain I don t know what caused then. I have had them for about 6 weeks. Some have gon away and the reappear back in a different area of my legs. They look like something bit me. No swelling either.
Recurrent appearance of red spots on extremities without any other symptoms can be due to many reasons. I would advise you to have liver function tests along with bleeding, clotting and prothrombin time. This may be related to liver disease. Secondly you have to search for any factors in food, beverages, atmosphere, in house and office that might give allergic reactions. Take appropriate management only after consulting your doctor or a dermatologist as a second opinion.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
