Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m 69, and have small dark red spots on my left forearm above the wrist bone. I thought they were caused by wearing my heavy silver cuff bracelet with older thinner skin, but it s been 2 months without wearing the bracelet and the spots aren t going away, maybe spreading. No itch, no pain. Also, do varicose veins ever start hurting?
Dark red spots on forearm could be due to primary skin condition. I suggest you to consult your dermatologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
