Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi there. Over the past few weeks I have noticed very small red dots on my penis head, not painful or any discomfort and not itchy. Having been having sex everyday with my partner I just assumed these were just friction marks. Since, thsee marks have become quite vivid and have now spread to my penis shaft and has made my penis very dry and skin has started to flake, though I still have no discomfort or pain. The red marks that are obvious are not sore and not raised above skin but are on both my head and shaft of my penis. It also gets worse after contact. I am seeing my doctor in a couple of days but am just curious as to know what the problem may be asap.
Noted your detailed history about daily sex with partner, development of red spots turning into white on glans first and then spreading to the shaft of penis. This is a form of STD that is not serious and occurs due to vaginal infection from your partner spreading to your penis. Hence would advise you the following: You have mentioned that you are seeing your DOctor so oon. Also get the Gynecologist's opinion for your partner. You both have to be treated simultaneously. No sex for 10 days and then protected for few more weeks will avoid re-infection. Take care and stop worrying.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
