What Causes Small Tear On The Buttock Along With Intermittent Bleeding?
I had a fungal infection a while back due to scratching between my butt. This was due to excessive sweating at work. I took meds and it eventually cleared, so I thought. I have a small tear/lump on the right side. It isn t healing or closing up and bleeds every now and then. What could it be?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small tear on the buttock along with intermittent bleeding which is very common as dirt and moisture get trapped by your clothing and the friction that comes from sitting can cause pimple. It could be due to blockage of sebaceous glands leading to folliculitis or boils. The symptoms can also occur due to condition like STD. I would suggest you to keep this area clean and dry , apply cream containing azelaic acid , apply warm compresses with soaked towel and apply vitamin C serum at night. If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically along with blood test and sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , antibiotics like clindamycin , anti inflammatory or anti fungal . Doctor may also prescribe benzoyl peroxide ointment .
