The commonest causes of white spots are as follows: If the sports are on the edge of the corona or glans these are absolutely normal and are called as Fordyce spots and nothing to worry about these as there is no treatment that is really required. But if the spots develop after unprotected sex, are on glans then this may be a sexually transmitted disease and needs active treatment. Sometimes Balanoposthitis can look like the same. Consult a Dermatologist for the best opinion and further management as needed. Keep the area clean by washing with plain water. Apply Liquid Povidone iodine locally. Use loose clothes.
