Hi, I just got done taking a medication called metronidazole flagyl. I only took 2 pills a day for a week but the day after I stopped the medication I noticed a lot of smegma when I took a shower. It also was sensitive to wash and felt sore and even kind of burned. Smegma keeps getting in my clitoris and in the labia. Straight above the clitoris is a sort of very slight crack that is very sensitive. But my skin is not dry. By clitoris and labia are itchy but not terribly. Everything has just gotten more tender. There seems to be nothing wrong with my vagina. I did start my period today though and it is way lighter than usual and a lot darker of a color, brownish. I noticed the smegma and soreness on Tuesday. And was also wondering is high stress and anxiety or even depression could cause this.
