What Causes Sneezing And Nasal Congestion After Having Endoscopy?
I had an endoscopy this morning and was given these medications during the procedure. Fentanyl 100 mcg IV Propofol 200 mg IV Versed 2 mg IV After the procedure I started sneezing and my nose has been stuffy. Is this a reaction to the medications. I had no symptoms of a cold or allergy before the procedure this morning.

It is possible that your symptoms are due to an allergic response to one of these medications or may be related to any tubing that may have been used in the nasal passages (if this was done)
The use of an oral antihistamine would help to reduce the symptoms. These can be obtained over the counter.
