What Causes Sneezing, Runny Nose And Itchy Mouth In The Morning?
As soon as I awake I start sneezing, my nose starts running and the roof of my mouth itches. This happens whether it is 2.00am or 9.00am when I first wake up. Whilst asleep I have no problem. After about 1 - 1.5 hrs this problem tends to go away and I am OK until sometimes late at night.
I do not have any history of allergies (hay fever etc) and an allergy test showed nothing.
I am 66 years old, about 85 kg and generally fit otherwise.
This has only happened in the summer months over the last two years and last October I had an operation to clear out all my sinuses.
Can anyone suggest what this might be please and how I can coun teract it?
