What Causes Soft Lump On The Cheek?
My husband recently got jumped by five guys. He went to the er and the said he could possibly end up needing surgery. His face the next day look like he had a softball in his cheek. It s been about 5 days now and it looks like a small bouncy ball. But the lump is now hard and he can move it up and down. What could that be?

The lump may be fibroid tissue. This is scar tissue that forms as a result of trauma.
It is hard. It resolves with time though in some cases, may not completely resolve.
The use of anti inflammatory agents such as ibuprofen, cataflam or naproxen may help.
