What Causes Soft Stools Along With Foul Odour?
Hi i am 21 years old and have noticed that i am having soft stools recently for over a 3 weeks and the stool floats its brown/ with no blood but i can see black dots within the stool. The stool is often foull smelling. I have some symptoms such abdominal pain sometimes on my lower left side and this goes when i pass a stool or when i pass gas. I get alot of gas now also. Sometimes the stool is fluffy and very easy to pass. It looks like fat or mucas. Normally i get no symptoms but alot of rumbling in the abdominom and when I pass gas this goes. Im very worried!

Hi,
from history it seems that you might5 be having some chronic gastro-intestinal infection either bacterial or protozoal.
Go for stool test for ova and cyst.
After report go for treatment accordingly.
You might require one course of Ofloxacilin, tinidazole combination medicine course for 5 days.
Avoid fried, chillies and junk food.
Ok and take care.
