What Causes Sore And Tender Breast When On Junel Birth Control?

I am on my second pack of Junel birth control. I have never had soreness or tenderness in my breast area, but have been experiencing some pain and burning in the nipple area. I have heard this could also be a symptom during your ovulation week (which is now) but I have never had any problems before. I recently switched from Loestrin to Junel.

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well hormonal pills contain the hormone progesterone which has a side effect of breast tenderness or heaviness in the breast. Also break through bleeding, nausea are some of the side effects experienced by some women. But if symptoms worsen you may have to consult your gynaecologist. In that case you may be switched over other medication. Hope i was helpful to you.
