My daughter just had pneumonia that triggered her first and only asthma attack. She was hospitalized for 3 days. She is on antibiotics and a controller inhaler. Today, the day after getting released from the hospital, she is complaining about sore armpits and ankles and itchy hands.....she has a follow up appt tomorrow, but I m not sure what to think.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take drugs like cetirizine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
