OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Your breasts respond to the hormones your body makes each month. Around the time of your period, you may have noticed your breasts were more tender and full.

Depo Provera is a hormone (progesterone) and it is now in your system and it can make your breasts more sensitive.

Typically it will improve after a period of time. Other things can cause breast pain as well (poor support-not a great bra, lots of caffeine) if this persists or you feel anything abnormal in your breasts you should see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Stephanie Fugate, OB and GYN Specialist
