What Causes Sore Feet Along With Cold Toes And Fingers?

My husband has had very sore feet for a month or so now. Cold toes and fingers. I noticed that on his right big toe that a bruise is coming up, the nail has gone white, and no cuticle showing. The bottom of his feet are so tender and sore. He has been on two prescriptions and nothing seems to be working. The pain will keep him up at night and will wake him up in the middle of the night.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi! Thank you for writing us here.
What your husband is having is an ischaemic foot. The blood supply to his feet are reduced and the tissues do not get enough oxygen to generate heat so it causes cold sensation and severe pain.
The eat drug I can prescribe is Cyclandelate 400mg once a day for one week. It would increase the blood flow to his feet and would be recovered. Also make sure his feel are warm always. He can try dipping his feet in warm water for sometime. He'll be alright soon with the prescription.
Regards,
Dr Gunjan
