What Causes Sore Gums, Sore Throat And Rashes On The Chest And Shoulders?

Hi. For a little over two weeks I have had sore gums, sore throat, and have a rash on my chest and shoulders that won t go away. I m trying to figure out what it could be and whether or not I should go to my doctor. I m not in a terrible amount of pain, but it s very uncomfortable.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore gums, sore throat and rashes on the chest and shoulders which is due to infection of upper respiratory tract and it could be due to inflammation of tonsils or viral infection. The sore gums can be due to infection in gums causing GINGIVITIS secondary to infection or can be a Canker Sore. You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and treatment can be planned accordingly. You should avoid intake of cold carbonated beverages. I would suggest you to take throat lozenges and do warm saline gargles. You should take warm water sip by sip. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin in combination with antiallergic medication Levocetirizine. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get blood and throat swab test done and get it examined.
