Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have two small and sore bumps on the roof of my mouth near the back that have arisen in just the last few days. They feel like little pustules or abscesses, but there is no obvious open sore. They are so far back that I can't see them with a flashlight. Is this a problem for a dentist or for an ENT doc?
It is a case to be evaluated by an ENT or an Otolaryngologist and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles and gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.. Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
The physician can advise you a course of antibiotics along with other remedies.. You should also avoid spicy foods..
Hope this information helps..
Regards.
