What Causes Sore Throat After Inhaling Rubbing Alcohol Fumes?
Inhaled fumes for a few hours or overnight rubbing alcahol and put on my hair for lice rinsed in 20 min. Had a migraine headache in the morning both my granddaughter and I have sore throat wit white coating on tongue and throat looks white not red inside. My chest hurts. What do I do wit until morning go to Dr. Or go to ER?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Fumes of alcohol could have caused certain symptoms related to respiratory tract. Kindly do the following to overcome it. 1. Do salt water gargling with warm water twice daily. 2. Take steam inhalation twice daily. 3. Take mucolytic and decongestant medication containing Bromhexine, Chlorpheniramine maleate and phenylephrine. Avoid exposure to such an environment again without proper protection for nose and oral cavity. Gradually, you should be able to overcome the symptoms and be back to normal.
