Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What can cause a swollen, sore throat after oral sex? My partner has given me oral sex twice (I am a male), and he is a male too. Both times, he has complained of a sore throat afterwards. But it only lasts for a few days, and only when he gives me oral sex. What is going on?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sore throat after oral sex which seems to be due to uncleanness of genitalia and it could be due to unprotected vaginal sex followed by oral sex. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take throat lozenges and do warm saline gargles. You should take antibiotic Azithral for 3-5 days and take all preventive measures. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get blood and throat swab test done and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
