What Causes Sore Throat Along With Difficulty In Swallowing And Fatigue?
I ve been in bed since saturday. Started with Severe sore thoat, couldn t swallow at all for 3 days, then went into my chest and I have a horrible green cough. I m exhausted, hot and feel generally awful. Will antibiotics help or should I just stick with Mucinex and AlkaSeltzer cold plus?
Sore throat is due to infection. Advice 1. Levocetirizine 5 mg daily per oral for 7 days 2. Azithromycin 500 mg daily per oral for 5 days 3. Omeprazole 20 mg orally in empty stomach for 10 days 4. Do gargle with slight warm salt water four times daily 5. Do not eat heavily at a time. Eat smaller meals 6. Do not lie down immediately after meal 7. Avoid dust, smoking, alcohol, dry environment, cold and spicy food 8. Avoid coffee and tea after meal 9. Consult an ENT specialist for general examination of your nasal passage I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thanks
