What Causes Sore Throat Along With Dry Cough And Fatigue?
I have been sick for over 3 weeks. It started with a very bad sore throat but that went away after 3 days. I still have a very bad dry cough and I'm very fatigue and not sleeping well. My husband now as it too. I've taken several otc meds plus lots and LOTS of vitamins but nothing seems to take away this cough or fatigue. help!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat along with dry cough and fatigue which seems to be due to chest infection/ chronic upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus x-ray done along with throat swab test and blood tests and start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should for fine needle and aspiration cytology as well. Take proper course of antibiotics. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids. Apply mist humidifiers in room. Avoid intake of cold carbonated beverages.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
