What Causes Sore Throat Along With Ear Pain And Tenderness In Jaw?

Yes 54 yo male I have been experiencing a sore throat, and then ear pain and even tendernes along my jaw where the ear canal runs ...the throat seems to be getting better ear pain is still there for three plus days ....Ear infection? could it be something more serious ?

As per your complain sore throat along with earache and pain in jaw seems to be due to infection in ear as well as throat..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopic examination of ear and throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, Anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen along with antibiotic and analgesic ear drops..
Along with it do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
Suck throat lozenges..
