Working on a case study: I have a patient with sore throat, fever, dysphagia, malaise, sore left ear, sore neck, no cough. On assessment his TMs or normal, he has a red throat with white exudate, swollen tonsils and swollen/tender cervical and submandibular nodes. He has small ketones and elevated SG in his urine. I m leaning towards strep throat but the urine is throwing me off and also, the swollen nodes makes me think there might be something else going on?
