What Causes Sore Throat Along With Headache And Fever?

my son started out last Tuesday And Wednesday with a sore throat. then Friday at school was sent home with headache and fever, his fever was 102.9. Since then a cough and fever 103.4 to104.3. now complaining of headache, and a burning felling in his throat. Tylenol and ibuprofen is not helping with the fever. Been to the ER 3 times since Friday and still no answer of what is causing this.and he clears his throat a lot.

Hi Dear ,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat along with headache and fever which is because of viral infection and poor and compromised immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would advise you to do tepid sponging to avoid high fever. Visit general physician once and get complete examination done. Go for blood tests and sputum test as well. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis and drink plenty of fluids. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Take proper antiviral course and anti-inflammatory drugs such as Sinarest as well. Take diet rich in vitamin B12 to booster immunity. Avoid cold beverages.
