What Causes Sore Throat Along With Heart Burn?

I'm having a strange feeling in my mouth/throat, kindof at the back left side of my tongue, tonsil and throat area. I looked in the mirror and my tonsils don't look swollen really but my uvula was stuck to my left tonsil or side of my throat. I've been really stuffy and having nasal drip recently, which has caused heartburn. I've also had a sore throat on and off for a few days now. Any ideas as to what it is? I feel like I can breathe fine, I was able to drink water. The weird feeling just started like 20 minutes ago but it's bothering me, I'm afraid to sleep because of it (it's 5 am).

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain sore throat, along with uncomfortable feeling in throat and mouth along with post nasal drip and heartburn seems to be due to acid reflux..
It leads to excess mucous formation..
I would suggest you to consult a General Physician or a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like upper G.I Endoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to take Proton Pump Inhibitors like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole..
Take antacids like Milk of magnesia..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
Always take walk after meals and take your dinner atleast 2 hours before sleep..
You should sleep with head slightly raised as compared to feet..
