What Causes Sore Throat Along With Lump At The Back Of Throat?

I had my tonsils out when I was young. I woke up with a sore throat yesterday and still have it. I looked at it yesterday and it was red. I looked at it tonight and there is a skin colored lump on the right side where my tonsils would be. Should I see a doctor?

I really appreciate your concern, this could allergic condition of throat and may not be infection if you do not have any symptoms then no need to see the doctor such appearance may be normal one unless have some clinical symptoms, just wait for some time this would go away, hope this information helps, take care.
