What Causes Sore Throat And Difficulty In Swallowing?

For the past couple of days I ve had a sore throat. I have trouble swallowing and speaking. coughing also makes my throat hurt. I can barely eat because swallowing makes it hurt even worse. I checked in the mirror and saw that my throat was swollen on the right and left side.

Hi,

You are welcome on health care magic.i got your chief complaint. Your problem can be due to: Infection like pharangitis. Tonsillitis most likely if you are young depends on age, let me know if possible. Any neoplastic growth in the region.

Do tell me if you suffer from fever. You feel fatigue. If your swellings are tender. Still on little history I feel it is case of tonsillitis. I suggest you either send back answers to my queries or see a general physician so that your problem can be diagnosed properly and treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar,
