What Causes Sore Throat And Fatigue?
Hi, I ve had a sore throat for about 9 days now with fatigue (more than normal tiredness) and occasional headache. No fever. I ve spent about 5 of the last nine days mostly in bed resting, but not really getting better. Went to Dr yesterday. Strep test was negative. Did a culture, but won t have results until Tuesday. Looked in throat today and it looks like there are bumps on it...maybe with pus, but hard to tell for sure. Any recommendations?

You have not mentioned your age or any medication history because it would be of great help in deciding treatment. Mostly you are suffering from tonsillitis, wait for the culture result.
You can take tablet diclofenac twice daily to reduce the inflammation. If you are having difficulty in swallowing, then you can take liquid diet as it is very important to eat during illness.
