What Causes Sore Throat And Passing Of Bright Green Stool?
Hi. I have had a sore throat for 4 days now and the last two days I have also had bright green stool. Otherwise I feel fine. I have not changed my diet or taken supplements and I haven t been eating many greens at all lately. Should I be concerned? Thank you .
Generally the symptoms you described are due to a viral infection that may affect respiratory and gastrointestinal system. In most of the cases this condition is self healed. If your temperature is in normal range there is no need for any medications just drink a lot of liquids and have a balanced diet. I you have fever and a really sore throat that disturbs you, consider taking antibiotics since a bacterial infection may have started and some sprays that remove your throat soreness.
Take care and all the best for you! Dr Eriol.
