What Causes Sore Throat And Pressure In The Chest After Taking Anesthesia Medicine?
I had anesthesia yesterday morning. I think that they put a tube down my throat to prevent vomiting form the other kind of anesthesia. Now I have a sore throat and chest pressure. I am not sure if I should see a doctor. I do have a lot of chest pressure but no breathing problems. The hospital called me and just said to drink cold drinks. Do I need to see a doctor or will this clear up?
dear patient, you are having a very common after effect of intubation. You will be fine and for the sore throats i advice you to do salt water gargling using warm water and two pinches of salt.do it three times a day for two days.it will go away.chest pressure will pass off.but if you develop breathlessness or increased heart beating and pain ,i advice u to attend the emergency.otherwise you will be fine. have good day and good health.
