What Causes Sore Throat And Sharp Chest Pain While Breathing?
About 20 minuets ago I had. Sore throat. So I found a cough drop in the kitchen cabinet I put it in my mouth and about 5-8 minuets later I took a big breath of air and I think it went down my wind pipe. I feel sharp pains in my chest every 10 seconds when every I breath. I was wondering how long it will take for the cough drop to melt away
Understanding your concern. As per your query you havesharp chest pain on breathing while having sore throat. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like acid reflux , angina or chest infection .But in your case liquid goes inside windpipe by mistake which is more serious then solid food . I would suggest suggest you to cough as its naturally bring that liquid out of the wind pipe . If condition doesn't get well then consult chest specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order chest x-ray and may prescribe antibiotics expectorant along with anti inflammatory .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
